Where to find us

1 Call Care has 50 clients at present. The client demographics spread across three main areas, Cardiff, Barry and Penarth, also forming two distinct groups; domiciliary care and Assertive Outreach.

Domiciliary care supports people who are vulnerable by age, medical condition and/or are disabled, while the assertive outreach team cover those who are vulnerable by way of being hard to reach, having no services in place, drug and alcohol misuse, homelessness or challenging behaviour.

Apart from general ongoing training regarding medication, moving and handling, and emergency first aid, the training schedule has several other elements. For example, in the assertive outreach team, the staff are trained in the use of Naloxone, medication to intervene if a person has overdosed on other substances.

1 Call Care has supported people to make changes in their lives that would have been difficult to attempt alone.
We are based in Cardiff and our offices are accessible to all staff, professionals and others.

The Team

1 Call Care is made up of a team of people who truly want to see positive change in the way social care is delivered and funded in order to provide much-needed support and care as and when it’s needed in the community.
